Woe is Me!

This is about how I feel....

I need to vent a bit about my life's frustrations.....keep in mind I do realize all will pass.

1. I'm so very sick of my house being trashed....In this moment I would have no problem telling Bruce & the kids to take their sloppy selves on a long hike.

2. I could put my fist through the wall over finding out that while I was taking Spencer to a birthday party, Bruce was sitting in his manly land of oblivion while Cameron & Taylor emptied by tube of Lancome tinted Moisturizer.....I already ran out of my other super expensive moisturizer...So, when in a few short years my face is nasty & wrinkled from being forced to use cheap crummy beauty products....Bruce can blame himself for having to look at an ugly wife...

3. Did I mention all the mess?

4. If that mangy dog barks one more time at nothing or something or WHATEVER THE HECK he barks at.....I may put him through the wall.

5. I'm so close to over the edge I'm cursing under my breathe.....in addition to having an ugly face tomorrow due to my lack of cosmetics....I will also come with crazy hair. It seems the darling Taylor Rose used up all my hair product while I was gone as well.

6. If it weren't for online banking & blogging....I'd probably throw the computer out the window just to eliminate the constant gaming that irks me to no end.

7. I want....I NEED.... a tummy tuck & a boob job....Is that too much to ask for?

8. My back is killing me, my stomach hurts, my ankles are swollen & my vericose vein is now going up my calf....Someone, put me out of my misery!!!!( Or at least give me a happy pill & take me out on the town???)

9. I don't know why I bother posting this.....my blog is causing me frustration as well!

10. I really need a good cry. Will someone please slap me? Yes, I've officially gone mad....

Need Some Karaoke?

I've decided that I need to go back to RuRu LaLa on the double! Life is much to boring now after having that much fun....So, anyone wanting to come with me let me know!! Maybe this weekend? You have to let loose....but you can't be more into it than me. (I'm kind of a microphone hog) You have to be OK with making a fool out of yourself...and there is a small amount of dancing required. You'll want to dress up a bit...not formal or anything, but you've gotta feel hot to really get into it. I swear it's the best time EVER! I want to go Friday night. I really think any good friend would understand how crucial this is for me & my sanity. I'm losing my groove. I don't want to feel like an average schmucky mom. I want to be a FABULOUS schmucky mom! I need excitement in my life. All I've been doing for going on 2 weeks is cleaning, wiping bums & cleaning vomit. Enough!! Remember, this would be a great date with your hubby too! (So, yes, Bruce would come in tow.) The lines are open.....

The Eyelash

I get compliments on my eyes all the time. I've got them all fooled. The truth is this...I have little bity eyes. You can't see my eyelashes all that well unless you get up close. I have short eyelashes. With make-up, there's so much deception. I have to have a great mascara to conceal or fake what's really there(or not there). I've run into people when I didn't have make-up on & they either don't recognize me or they ask if I'm not feeling well. That makes you feel good! I've only worn fake eyelashes a few times. All of them were the ones you buy at Target or WalMart and you apply yourself. The glue really irritates my eyes. Which is a real bummer because I would wear fake eyelashes pretty much all the time. Then it occurred to me, I could get eyelash extentions. Something semi-permanent. I've overheard the process as I've laid in the salon getting my eyebrows waxed. I might check into this. I also just read an article about an up & coming drug, similar to Botox, but it stimulates eyelash growth. If it goes on the market, it will make things like fake eyelashes a thing of the past. I'd really like to know if anyone has tried this and whether they thought it was worth the discomfort. (As I'm typing, I'm realizing that I sound very shallow & superficial...I'm really not. Promise.) I just know that when I look good, I feel good, when I feel good, I am a happier, postive & more motivated person to my favorite people; my family! Now I must go put on my face!

Getting my Fancy Fingers Back

This is at a student's home, and yes, the bench needs to be back further.

If you refer back to the early posts of this blog, you'll read all about my feelings of regret in regards to my music. I'm trying to get back into playing, not church stuff, although I love doing that. This is the piece I'm working on...maybe by Spring I'll be ready to perform it....maybe not. We'll see how my hands hold up. I've been having alot of pain in them when I do anything with repetitive movement. I'm determined though!!

Being Me

I know you've heard about New Years...but, I love this pic of me doing "Footloose"

I want to say I always know who to count on to give me the push I need. I've always loved my Uncle Kevin...I remember being a child always looking forward to him visiting or getting to hang out with him. He made my childhood great by buying me a dump truck
for my birthday. I guess he was probably in his early 20's at that time, single, and had no idea what to get a young girl. I doubt he really analyzed the impact of this gift. But, that's what he got me & ever since I've had a thing for trucks. Then, there was the time he had my sister & I on a weekend. We were at my Grandma's apartment in Chico. He took us to the store & bought 2 pies. Is there a girl alive that wouldn't find this to be the greatest time ever? And once again, a deep new love blossomed between me and pie....all thanks to Kevin. There's been other great memories with Kev. He's become a loyal reader which you all know gives a person a ton of points with me. But, of all the things he's done to make me happy....the #1 without question was marrying Martha. Well into my teens I accepted the fact that my dad's side of the family would never give me any new relatives. But finally, Kevin cracked or something and took the plunge. Martha is great. She is fun...funny. She puts up with Kevin's quirks. She is great with my kids. She listens to your silly crap. But mostly, she tells it like it is. Once, she said something about me being like my Grandma Boone with my comments. I thought to myself, holy crud, this is insane. I most certainly am not! Martha, I admit it, I AM! I needed to hear that. Martha commented on my last post...she referenced the movie "Moonstruck". It just so happens to be a favorite of mine.(Bet you didn't know that) Snap Out of It!! Exactly what I needed to hear. Gotta love Martha! She got me thinking about this. How am I going to snap out of it? I am a person who is on edge alot of the time. I am simple, but make things so complex with all of my scattered ways. (I'm shocked if anyone is still reading at this point.) I realized something. I started this blog as an outlet to figure out things. I called it my free therapy. So, there is where my inspiration lies. I need to go back to blogging more about my crazy thoughts. Enough with the kids! They get all my attention...they won't take over my blog!(You'll still get a little of them) But, mostly, this is what it is to be me! I feel great now! Thank you Martha! Thank you Cher!

Blah....

I don't know what exactly it is...but I'm in a bit of a blah spell. I've lost my inspiration or something. I just don't feel like blogging lately. Partly, this is good because I've wasted time on the computer over it. I've been much more productive since the New Year. And, if I don't post, then I don't obsess over the void in the comments which has always left me dismayed. But, since birth, I've been a yellow. Because of that, I do find great satisfaction in seeing myself and my happenings being posted for the world to see. I don't know. I'm in a blogging funk and don't know how to get out of it. It could just be January. Outside of New Years, what is there to look forward to? It's not really until February that the fun starts up again...Yeah, I think that is it! So, give me a couple weeks and I'll be back in all my narcissistic glory. Until then, Happy Days!

New Years Eve-What a Night!

This was probably the funnest night EVER! And believe me, I've had some fun nights in my life. We had dinner at Chili's with friends and a few hours a RURU LALA...There is no better way to ring in the New Year. All I can say is that I wish everyone I love could come to this place with me. I love Felisha & Ashley(my friends with me) because they, like me, can perform like a blitzed hair band...but we're really stone cold sober. I love you, girls! I can't wait for next time!!
